Your customer service lives in an account that can be suspended
The single point of failure isn't the bot. It is the login.
I counted the last 10,000 posts on the official OpenAI forum. In 60 days, 83 threads were opened over lost access — accounts suspended, banned, deactivated, locked. Most of them in Support, the help section.
The longest discussion passed 150 replies and was about someone locked out because of an old phone number on file. No fraud, no misuse. One outdated detail turning into a wall.
Translating to your business: the bot answering your customers on WhatsApp hangs on an account. That account has an email, a phone number and a card. If any of the three has a problem — a declined card, a changed phone, an automatic verification triggered by mistake — the channel goes dark.
And when it goes dark, support is asynchronous. You don't call anyone. You open a ticket and wait, while the customer on the other side thinks you closed.

The minimum so you aren't left stranded
- 1**An account in the company's name**, with a corporate email more than one person can access — not the personal Gmail of whoever set it up.
- 2**Updated phone and card**, reviewed every quarter. It is the silliest failure and the most common.
- 3**Someone knows how to switch the bot off** and send service back to a human, in minutes, without depending on whoever configured it.
- 4**An automatic alert** when the channel stops responding. Finding out from the customer is the worst way to find out.
Today's test
Customer service automation isn't a technology project. It is a sales process running on infrastructure that isn't yours. That can be a good deal — we build these processes every day. But it is only a good deal when there is a plan for the bad day.
Uzz.Ai verdict: avoid
Who needs to look at this: anyone with a WhatsApp bot set up by a single person, logged in with their personal email — who never tested what happens if that access disappears
