At peak hours, AI gets inline too
In 60 days, 49 threads on the official OpenAI forum were opened over usage limits or an overloaded platform. A single day of exhausted capacity drew more than 70 replies. At your counter, that is the customer who never got an answer.

At peak hours, AI gets in line too
Exhausted capacity doesn't warn your customer. They just don't get an answer.
I counted the last 10,000 posts on the official OpenAI forum. In 60 days, 49 threads were opened over usage limits or an overloaded platform — capacity exhausted, quota errors, service down.
A single day of exhausted capacity produced one thread with more than 70 replies. People who pay and, at that moment, couldn't use it.
The misleading word is *cloud*. It suggests something infinite, always available, that scales on its own. But the cloud is a building with a finite number of machines, and when a lot of people arrive at once, a line forms.
The problem is that your automation can't say "I'm in line." It returns an error, or freezes, or answers after the customer has already given up. And the time the platform fills up is usually exactly the time your traffic is highest.

What to do about the line
- 1**A ready fallback reply** — an honest message that takes over the conversation and promises a follow-up, better than silence or an error.
- 2**An alert when the error rate rises**, so you know before the customer complains.
- 3**A human queue at critical hours** — if Saturday morning is your peak, Saturday morning has someone on call.
- 4**Don't promise instant** in your customer communication. "A reply within minutes" holds up; "an instant reply" creates the complaint.
What to measure this week
Automation that only works when everything is calm isn't automation — it is luck that looks like a system. The real test is the busy day, and that is the day to design for.
Uzz.Ai verdict: assess
Who needs to look at this: anyone with a defined traffic peak — Saturday morning, end of month, a campaign running — who never checked how many messages went unanswered at those moments

We measure the conversations that went unanswered, find the time when it happens and build the contingency.
